August 26, 2011 in Competitions
Get a peek into Catherine Fulvio’s kitchen!
Catherine Fulvio believes that recipes should be uncomplicated, interesting and, most importantly, very tasty! In her new book, Catherine invites food lovers into her kitchen in Ballyknocken House to share practical and delicious recipes geared to busy, modern lives juggling work and families.
Drawing on her own experience as a cook and a mother, Catherine’s Family Kitchen includes over 100 mouth-watering recipes that all the family will love. Her ‘five ways with…’ method offers simple variations on family favourites – from soup to salad dressing, to speedy pasta dishes and even marinades and mash.
Be it an informal meal for the family, a big lunch with friends or a supper for someone special, Catherine’s Family Kitchen explores the full range of home cooking possibilities, with lots of handy tips to make everyday cooking easier and more enjoyable.
The book includes recipes from Catherine’s new eight-part TV series of the same name, starting on 9 September on RTÉ. The book is published by Gill & Macmillan for €22.99 and will be available in stores from Friday, 2 September, but we have 5 copies to give away before then! To be in with a chance to win, just leave a comment. Winners will be randomly chosen and notified by email. The competition will close at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 2 September. Good luck!

My two girls aged 7 and 10 are hanging out in my kitchen, wanting to help and thankfully learning how to cook. It’s so important to teach them.
