Something for the Weekend

Food blogging in Ireland has officially taken off! Every week we add a handful of new blogs to our ever-increasing blogroll and introduce them to you through our new blogs posts, but we would like to do some better profiles of our members, both old and new.
We want to run a new series called Something for the Weekend which is all about YOU! Every Friday morning we hope to feature a different member of the Irish Food Bloggers Association and one of their favourite recipes.
What we need from you:
- A recipe on the theme of something for the weekend. It can be savoury, it can be sweet. It can be for a romantic dinner, it can feed a family. It’s up to you!
- An image to accompany the recipe.
- An introductory paragraph – why did you choose this dish?
- A short piece on you and your blog, including links to your blog/Twitter/Facebook feed.
If you send these through to we are planning to start the series in the next few weeks.

Thanks Caroline, will do. I think this is a brilliant idea. The makeover is a quick one- the big one I’m leaving until later in the year and then handing that all over to Event Media to look after!. Will be back as soon as I can. This is a great opportunity for us all to get to know each other. I keep missing most events and meetups with personal stuff cropping up!!!

We’d love to feature something from you, Conor. Despite reading as much as possible, I know that there are lots of blogs out there that I haven’t been, as it were, properly introduced to. I’m hoping this will be a way of discovering some new ones.
