This weekend: Flavour of Killorglin, Lobsters & Lettuce Festival

Flavour of Killorglin takes place this Saturday, 7 July, with the centre of the town devoted to all things culinary. There will be open-air cookery displays by top local chefs,a range of food to sample, music and a barbecue on the riverside to end the day.
The event has been organised to promote Killorglin’s award-winning restaurants, including:
- fine dining from Carrig House
- superb Pizza’s and Salads’s from Pay As You Please
- gastro-pub delights from Nick’s restaurant
- authentic tapas from Sol y Sombra
- an Irish take on Ligurian classics by Daniele Giovannelli

Also taking place this weekend, from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 July, is the Lobsters & Lettuce Festival, Bundoran.
There will be a range of workshops taking place, including one on wild food from herbalist Gaby Wieland, cooking with seaweed with Prannie Rhatigan (author of Irish Seaweed Kitchen) and Healthy Children’s Lobsters & Lettuce from Eithna O’Sullivan of Source Sligo Cookery School.
